TOHO Brings Godzilla To San Diego Comic Con

Every anniversary, TOHO always has something planned for the Godzilla franchise. Last year, TOHO announced a Tsuburaya Museum which is a dedication to special effects director, Eiji Tsubaraya, and his works on monster films. To celebrate Godzilla's 65th anniversary, it was announced by Cosmic Book News that TOHO will be attending San Diego Comic Con for the first time with a Godzilla themed booth.

The booth is listed to have:

  • A fun green screen photo booth for unique social posts (#Godzilla65)

  • A live mural painting by famed Godzilla artist, Shinji Nishikawa

  • The actual suit used in Godzilla 2000

  • Props from films throughout the franchise's history

  • SDCC exclusive Godzilla products

  • Giveaways, photo opportunities and much more gargantuan fun!

I'm not sure if they will make any announcements regarding new Japanese Godzilla movies, but it doesn't seem like it. If they do make an announcement I will make a post about it. If you are attending San Diego Comic Con and want to find TOHO's booth the booth number is #3535.

Will you be attending San Diego Comic Con? If so, will you be checking out TOHO's booth? What do you hope to see or hear from TOHO at SDCC if they do make an announcement?
