Godzilla: Planet Of The Monsters was just released on Netflix last month and came out with popular consensus of being mediocre at best. For the collectors though, they are not going to pass up on a DVD/Blu-Ray release. Just yesterday, it was announced that Godzilla: Monster Planet will be released on DVD/Blu-Ray on May 16th in Japan. According to Bloody-Disgusting.com, "Toho Video will issue three editions of the animated feature: 2-disc-all-region Blu-Ray Collectors Edition (¥8,800 = $82.35), a single-disc all-region Blu-Ray Standard Edition (¥6,800 = $63.64), plus a single-disc R2 DVD Standard Edition (¥5,800 = $54.28). There is no English subtitles as this is intended for the domestic Japanese market. A US release will be pending the negotiating of a license deal for North America sales."

On top of that, Amazon Japan will release their own exclusive blu-ray collector's steelbook edition as well as standard DVD/Blu-Ray editions, which all of them comes with a poster created by Yuji Kaida if ordered off Amazon Japan (scroll to top to see poster).
