Just when you thought there wouldn't be any more Funko POP! news for a while, there is always something that pops (no pun intended) up unexpected. Last night, toy collector and YouTuber, Ultrazilla, reported that a picture of the Funko POP! MechaGodzilla figure has leaked. I will be showing you guys here and will give my thoughts on the design. I know that we have already seen MechaGodzilla in the trailer, but to anybody that does not want to see the full design for themselves until Godzilla vs Kong is released this is your spoiler warning. If you do not want to be spoiled now is your chance to click out of this article.

Ready?
Here is the Funko POP! MechaGodzilla. As you can see, it is blurry, but this was apparently found on the back of one of the boxes for the Godzilla vs Kong Funko POP! figures.
My initial reaction to the figure is the pose the toy is in. With only its right arm stretched out, MechaGodzilla looks like he is guiding you to a seat at a restaurant. I am also not much of a fan of the face either. It looks too narrow, but I also have to remember that Funko POP! figures take creative liberties meet a specific style. It is hard to see from how blurry the picture looks, but MechaGodzilla does have claws similar to how you see in a crane game. I think this figure could use some red paint in the eyes, chest, and the plates on his back and tail so this MechaGodzilla can really POP! The only thing I can say is that I need to see more pictures of this figure to really give my final thoughts on it. Maybe in a month or two we will see official pictures of this toy.
Yesterday, online stores (Walmart, Books-A-Million, FYE, and Big Bad Toy Store) started taking preorders and most of them immediately sold out within hours. If you are wanting to purchase one do so quickly before there are no more in stock.
